Clearing
the Way for Schwartz to Represent Yesil
In July 2004, to allow Dan Schwartz to represent Engin
Yesil and his companies, without a conflict of interests,
Dan Schwartz and I formalized an arrangement under which
he ceased to represent me, yet agreed to make his best
efforts to protect my anonymity as the source of information
I had anonymously provided to both Engin Yesil and the
Kerry presidential campaign. It was a not long after our
execution of the letter shown below that, in the course
of his work for Engin Yesil, Schwartz learned my cover
had been blown and warned me of that. |
