Bio of Dan Schwartz, Former General Counsel of the NSA
Daniel C. Schwartz, who, before entering private practice,
served as general counsel of the world's largest spy agency,
the NSA, assisted me in removing classified information
from my first book, Overworld. In the summer of 2004,
he warned me of the leak to Gregory Craig, and subsequently
to Baker Botts (the law firm of James A. Baker III, former
Secretary of State and key advisor to President Bush),
of my memorandum to the man identified in America at Night
as the Gray Eminence. Below is the thumbnail biography
