Looking for Links Between Hirschfeld and the Semion Mogilevich
Crime Family
After I had identified Hirschfeld to the satisfaction
of the Department of Homeland Security, and was informed
of transactions between Hirschfeld and Boris Birshtein,
I looked for links between Hirschfeld and associates of
the Semion Mogilevich organized crime family. While studying
the FBI report titled SEMION MOGILEVICH ORGANIZATION/
EURASIAN ORGANIZED CRIME, I focused primarily on the account
of Birshtein hosting a summit meeting of Russian organized
crime figures, which appears on pp. 35-36, and on a statement
about Mogilevich associates trafficking in illegal weapons
and radioactive materials, which appears on p. 25. My
